Nassau County Man With 10 License Suspensions Nabbed For DWI, Police Say

A Long Island man with 10 license suspensions has been charged with alleged driving while intoxicated after being stopped for talking on a phone.

Nassau County resident Christopher Rodriguez, age 32, of Freeport, was arrested in Suffolk County by Southampton Police on Saturday, Nov. 30.

According to police, Rodriguez was observed using a mobile device while driving on Montauk Highway, in Sagaponack, when It was learned Rodriguez was operating his vehicle with more than 10 suspensions.

Rodriguez was processed at Southampton Town Police headquarters and released on a field appearance ticket to return to court at a later date.
